Program Description: 

EZmove is a licensed real estate broker and will rebate as an incentive a portion of any cooperative brokerage fee it receives if EZmove refers you to another licensed real estate broker in a manner and to the extent permitted by state law.


Qualification: 

An EZmove customer who participates in this program is eligible to receive a rebate each time he or she purchases or sells a home through the EZmove real estate network.  If an EZmove customer sells a home through a participating office AND then buys a home through a participating office, he or she will receive a rebate with respect to both the purchase and the sale.


Limitations due to State and Federal Law: 

The incentive offer is available on modified terms in some states and not available at all in others. In addition, the incentive may not be available to some buyers, as follows:

EZmove customers who are conducting the purchase or sale of a home in one of the following states are NOT eligible to participate in this program, due to state regulatory constraints: AL, SD and TN.  However, EZmove customer’s are eligible to receive the same amount as a credit at closing or such other manner as is permitted by state law! (b) AK, IA, KS, LA, MO, MS, NJ, OK, OR and SC do not allow us to provide any incentive to the consumer. However, we welcome EZmove customer’s still to participate in the program, and receive all the other benefits the EZmove network provides.


Estimated Incentives: 


Your rebate will be 30% of the referral fee that EZmove receives from your participating real estate office.

In most cases, your participating real estate office's commission will be 3% of the sale price. This assumes an aggregate commission of 6% that is evenly split between the buyer's office and the seller's office.

For example, when your participating office receives a 3% commission and the sale price of your home is $300,000, your rebate will be $300,000 X 3% (Sales Commission) X 30% (EZmove Referral Fee) X 30% (Rebate) = $810.00.

When will I get my reward?

Your reward will be credited to your account at close of escrow.

I live in a state that does not allow the program. Can I still use your services?

While we are not allowed to offer the reward in some states, we can still offer our broker network to anyone interested in working with our high-quality agents and using our suite of services.

Why do some states not allow the reward?

In some states, the statutes prohibit any form of reward to consumers on real estate transactions.

What is expected of me if I use your services?

You must close on a real estate transaction with a preferred real estate agent. If you decide at any point that you do not want to use the program, you are free to select an agent on your own.

How do you decide which agents to put us in touch with?

We have assembled a broker network that will meet the needs of consumers in the marketplace. Through our experience in building the network and working with the companies in our broker network, we are confident in our ability to match you up with an agent who will meet your needs.

How quickly can I expect to receive a call from the agent regarding selling my property or buying a new home?

We have established that we can help you, a real estate agent will contact you within 24 hours to set up an appointment to discuss your needs in detail. Depending on the time of day and your time zone, we can often arrange for contact to be made on the same day.

I am dissatisfied with my current agent. Can you help me find another?

Yes. We are committed to a quality broker network and want to help make sure you are satisfied. Call us and we'll put you in touch with an agent who will better suit your needs.

Do you have a formalized program for home finding within my current community?

Yes. We can help you find a new home whether you are looking two blocks or 2,000 miles away from your current home. Our broker network is qualified to provide you with the most up to date information on schools and other community matters, to help make an informed home-buying decision.

When I buy my new home, do you help close the sale or provide any assistance?

We have partnered with our network brokers to provide direction and guidance for closing the real estate transaction. We do not process or coordinate the actual closing. All documentation required for the closing (e.g., title search, disclosures, contract, etc.) will be handled through the broker.

The agent helping me sell my home wants me to sign a listing agreement. Is it okay for me to sign this?

There is no problem with you signing the listing agreement. In fact, you may need to sign the listing agreement to allow the agent to list your home. Once you sign that agreement, it defines the expectations you are setting for the listing agent and what you are agreeing to give the agent in exchange for his or her services.

I have an agent in mind – will you allow us to list and sell our home through his/her agency?

Yes, if you notify your EZmove Manager prior to listing your property and that agency agrees to the referral program. We are committed to working with real estate companies who are dedicated to customer service. If you feel that your agency will serve your needs, we are more than happy to invite them to join our broker network.

Do I have a choice of real estate agents when listing my property through your broker network?

Yes, we can offer you the chance to work with several different real estate agents within your community. We can give you the option of having two or more agents present a market analysis so that you can make the best decision possible.

What if I am already working with an agent who is not part of your network?

Please call us to see if we can help you. There are several different services that we may be able to assist with.
